Ries Maaswinkel

My ancestors lived and worked near a bend (a ‘winkel’) in the river Maas, hence my family name Maaswinkel.

I was born and raised in Rotterdam, a city on the banks of the Maas.

I studied theology in Utrecht and Amsterdam.

My career has taken me to several Dutch cities.

I live in Amsterdam now and work as a mediator, trainer and personal coach.

In the course of my work I provide:

Mediation when parties are dragged down by a conflict

Training in skills for the daily flow of activities

Coaching to meet the challenge of rough waters

I help to design and build the bridge.
